Religious Education

Our Religious Education policy is based upon the 'Mystery and Meaning' syllabus with children learning the values of Christianity within a wide appreciation of world religions to encourage understanding in our multicultural society.

This is part of a story cube. This painting is 1 metre squared and was painted by pupils in Green Area. There were five painting made in total by children at Barrs Court. each painting showing a scene from the last days of Jesus' life. The cube was made by Reverend Adams and displayed to the community of Longwell Green church at Easter.

Reverend Adams and 'The Assembly Team' are regular visitors to our school.

We go to Longwell Green church every Christmas and create a tableau of the Nativity, telling the story of Jesus' birth through drama, music, songs and readings.

We have a wide range of resources to help us learn about different religions.
