We have achieved the Arts Council England ARTSMARK GOLD AWARD. We were first awarded this in 2005 and then again in 2008. Artsmark Awards are given to schools that, following an audit of its arts provision, are recognised as providing a progressive, well balanced arts education programme. The Artsmark Gold status is the highest level awarded.

Many of our children play insruments such as the recorder, violin, keyboard and flute. Many of the adults play an instrument also, a staff band perform and play instruments to enhance the teaching of music throughout school.

Singing of a very high quality can be heard in lessons, assemblies and during choir practice.
Every year our exceptional school choir performs at the Colston Hall in Bristol and with the Bendix Band at Christmas.
We listen to a wide range of music from different periods of history and from different cultures.
